Application Process:

In the USA, there are primarily two intakes for university admissions – Fall (August) and Spring (January).

The fall intake is the major one as it allows access to a wide range of university options for admission, whereas the spring intake might have limited choices available.

Application deadlines vary from university to university and depend on the course of study. Generally, for the fall intake, the application period spans from October to March, while for the Spring intake, the deadline is around 15th October.

When applying, students are required to submit essential documents, including a Letter of Recommendation, Transcripts, and Financial documents.

For Undergraduate applications, students need to apply online and provide sealed and stamped 10th, 11th, and 12th Official Transcripts from school. Two letters of recommendation from school teachers, a Statement of Purpose, and certificates of extracurricular activities and other achievements (if available) are also required.

For Masters’s applications, students need to submit Official Transcripts from the university, two academic recommendations (and one from the employer if the candidate has work experience), a Statement of Purpose, and a detailed CV. Essays might be required by the University, and certificates of extracurricular activities and achievements can be included if available.

At Skill Mapping, we assist students in navigating the application process for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, ensuring that they meet all requirements and deadlines for successful admission to their preferred universities.

Cost of Education

In the USA, the cost of education can vary significantly based on the state and the type of institution you choose.

On average, tuition fees per year range from $15,000 to $60,000 for private institutions, while state institutions typically charge between $10,000 and $20,000 per year. In addition to tuition fees, students should consider living expenses, which generally amount to $10,000 to $16,000 per year. It’s essential to carefully assess your budget and explore financial aid options to make an informed decision about the best educational opportunity that aligns with your financial resources.

Cost of Living

In the USA, universities prioritize the well-being and success of their foreign students by providing dedicated International Student Advisers. These advisers offer valuable support and assistance whenever students encounter challenges during their academic journey. Additionally, US universities host arrival orientations for international students to introduce them to the campus facilities and help them adapt to their new life in the United States.
